Here in this shop resides the Scroll Keeper, a shadowy entity, once the helper of the original scroll keeping master. When his master had passed on, this being continued to collect and store away all the scrolls he could find. Aimlessly he tends to the scrolls, constantly going out to collect those left by men who have perished in the treacherous marshes that surround it.
I'm going to write something about this (if you don't mind of course), maybe not anytime soon but it's so cool and different it just makes me want to write something.
I love the concept, and especially the design of the Scroll Keeper.
Maybe it's just me, but something about the circular shelves of scrolls in the center looks off to me--like, the angles of the shelves don't match the circular shape created by the base of the pillar.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
